Top 500 Innovation Capabilities of Guangdong Enterprises Released for the First Time, Huada Biology Ranked 445

on March 30, at the 2018 Guangdong Economist and Entrepreneur Annual Meeting and Guangdong Development Forum, the Guangdong Enterprise Innovation Top 500 list was released for the first time, and BGI was successfully shortlisted, ranking 445.

This annual forum is jointly sponsored by the Guangdong Economic and Enterprise Federation and the Guangdong Development Research Institute of Guangzhou University, with the theme of "only innovators advance, only innovators are strong, and only innovators win". It is of great significance to plan Guangdong's reform and development in the new era and unswervingly implement the innovation-driven development strategy based on Guangdong's reality. Professor Mu Rongping, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute of Science and Technology Strategy Consulting of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Researcher Tian Feng, former chairman of the Guangdong Federation of Social Sciences, and Professor Chen Hongyu, former vice president of the Party School of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Counselor of the Provincial Government, delivered speeches at the Guangdong Development Forum. Li Kewei, executive chairman of the Guangdong Federation of Economists and Entrepreneurs, introduced that more than 20000 high-tech enterprises in Guangdong were included in the selection. The selection indicators include enterprise invention patents, copyrights, the level of R & D centers, the ability to transform scientific and technological achievements, and the strength of high-tech talents (Sub-high and above), etc., is a comprehensive survey of Guangdong's high-tech enterprises.
